So avoid the models that have tubing systems that are small or narrow, the larger and wider the tubes the more oxygen will go in to the system. This will also result in more number of bubbles and larger bubbles to form on the surface which is actually perfect for the process of the compost tea making.
Also if you are making a purchase of a compost tea maker instead of simply building one yourself which would have been cheaper, out of a bin, also make sure that the unit comes with a lock that can keep all the creatures and the animals out of it.
